With their undisputed sense of flow, superior productions and love for 70s soul, disco and funk, British act Jungle has established themselves as a name that many festivals call when they want to be sure to have a party. Test34rt3
Roskilde Festival has also repeatedly witnessed the duo's euphoric groove and ability to tie several historical genres together in modern productions, and not least their ability to create an almost magical dance party. Jungle have also made no secret of the fact that they are very happy to play at Roskilde Festival, which they last enchanted with their danceable rhythms in 2019.
Founded in 2013 by London producers Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, the project has managed to create a unique brand with a sound that is both retro and contemporary. This is demonstrated once again on their latest opus, the 2023 album Volcano, where inspiration from hip-hop's sampling culture goes together with hedonic echoes of disco and funk.
Live, Jungle manages to orchestrate the songs with carefully selected and always sublime musicians who create a unique presence in the concerts. A soulful dance party is guaranteed when Jungle returns to Roskilde!
